2016 Nationale Oldtimerdag - Lelystad (NL)

It's not often that an antique car wins a best of show trophy, but this 116 year old car has. The 12 HP Panhard was a very modern car at its time, with a 4-cylinder petrol engine in front and chain driven rear wheels. It was made from 1897 till 1902 and 514 left the factory; a respectable number in those early days.
The car is in full running order and shows wonderful workmanship. Remarkably it's owned by the same family that went home with the best of show trophy in 2015 for a different car.
