Around 1960 this car was fitted with aluminum Speedwell bonnet and doors, a hardtop by Gaston and a Downton tuned engine. It was raced by Tonio Hildebrand at circuits in The Netherlands and Belgium and later by Wim Booker who also added hillclimbs to the car's repertoire.
