2022 Antwerp Concours - Wijnegem (B)

This is the first body designed and constructed by Edmond Pery, the man who established Apal in 1961. Apal is best known for producing polyester bodies that could be fitted on Volkswagen Beetle chassis. In this case a 1956 DKW 1000 Sp chassis with 2-stroke engine was used. He built this one-off for himself and used it on his honeymoon.
