Robert Jankel is best known as the founder of car manufacturer Panther Westwinds but he had also started a coach building firm in 1955 named Robert Jankel Design. This company mainly made special versions of luxury cars, but also police vehicles and armored cars were built. During the 1980s the company made over 100 Rolls Royce Silver Spur limousines. The rare Bentley stretched limo was sort a spin-off of that series; there were a number of variations available and this Limousine III version was made 17 times.
