2016 Antwerp Concours - Wijnegem (B)

The original production of the DB 4 GT by Zagato (1960-1963) received two officially sanctioned additions: the Sanction 2 in 1991 (4 cars) and the Sanction 3 in 2000 (2 cars). All were approved by Aston Martin and Zagato, were produced using the same parts and bodywork and were given unused chassis numbers from the original batch of cars. They were called "works approved replica's" by Aston Martin.
Apparently the idea was so lucrative that Aston Martin again created a number of these cars, now dubbed the Continuation series, in 2019.
