In 1980 Belgian Abarth specialist Guy Moerenhout made around 25 of these special RS versions of the Lada 1300 for the Belgian Lada distributor. Differences to the original model were a tuned engine producing 100 hp with 2 Weber 40 DCOE carburetors and a modified camshaft, a sporty steering wheel, special rims and some optic modifications. The cars were sold in The Netherlands, Belgium, Norway and France.
