Armstrong Whitworth was an industrial concern established in 1847 and producing all sorts of machinery. In 1904 the company diversified into car production, offering a wide range of models up to the end of the first World War. These cars distinguished themselves as being very reliable. The 15/20 HP was one of the smaller models, powered by a 2714 cc 4-cylinder engine, and offered in 1911 and 1912. In 1919 Armstrong Whitworth's car production was merged with that of Siddeley Deasey to form Armstrong Siddeley.
