Regal was a car manufacturer located in Detroit, USA. It manufactured cars from 1908 till 1918. Best known were their "underslung" models, introduced in 1910 for the 1911 model year. Underslung meant that the axles were suspended above the chassis instead of below, lowering the car's height compared to conventional constructions. This unrestored sporty 2-seater is a great example of that construction. Some named it the "poor man's Mercer", referring to an expensive famous sports car of that era.
