Northern built cars from 1902 till 1908 in Detroit, USA. The car shown here was the first model; around 300 were made. One of the founders of the company was Jonathan Maxwell, who left in 1904 to start building cars under his own name, Maxwell, which ultimately became the foundation for the Chrysler make a few decades later.
