A custom built special ordered by a wealthy New Yorker who wanted the style of an Auburn speedster and the performance of a Duesenberg. It was made for him by Raceway Garage, who transplanted the Auburn body on to a Duesenberg drivetrain at considerable extra cost. The engine was prepared by Hoe's Machine Shop to produce 400 hp without the aid of a supercharger; a staggering amount of power at the time. Only one was made.
