The GTSi (also known as the Si or 90 Si) was the last incarnation of the iconic Pantera. Designer Marcello Gandini was responsible for the stylistic update of the classic Ghia design drawn by Tom Tjaarda some twenty years before. Coachbuilder Embo manufactured the bodies. Only 41 were made of this second series Pantera, the last one leaving the factory in 1993.
A striking fact about the first series Pantera is that 6380 of these cars were made between 1971 and 1974 and, after Ford pulled out of the project, only 662 in the following 15 years up to 1990.
