Here you see the "suicide door", a small third door behind the driver's side door and opening in the opposite direction. A unique feature of the second series Saturn coupe introduced for the 1999 model year. A similar solution was seen years later on the Mini Clubman (2007-2014), though on the passenger's (right) side of the car.
