2017 Techno Classica - Essen (D)

The GT was the coupe version of the Palm Beach Mk II model and only 2 were made. One was fitted with a Jaguar XK 140 engine and became Sydney Allard's personal car. The second car, the one shown here, was powered by a tuned Chrysler Hemi engine. It was very powerful but also tricky to drive and so it acquired the nickname "The Beast".
