Velie was an American car manufacturer from Moline, Illinois. The company made cars from 1909 till 1929 and was founded by Willard Lamb Velie, a grandson of John Deere. When he died in 1928, and his son in 1929, the Velie factory became part of Deere & Company, best known for producing farming equipment.
