Austin A125 Sheerline 4-door cabriolet by Vesters & Neirinck 1949
2017 Classic Days Schloss Dyck - Aldenhoven (D)

A remarkable and unique parade car ordered by King Leopold III of Belgium and built by coachbuilder Vesters & Neirinck in Brussels. It's based on a 4 Litre 6-cylinder chassis from Austin, a rather modest choice for such an extravagant car, even if it was the most expensive that Austin had to offer at the time. It was one of the last cars with a body by Vesters & Neirinck; this well respected company had to close its doors in 1949.
Unfortunately the owner felt it was necessary to leave the hood open, it spoiled the glamorous lines of the car.
