AC 16/90 sports 1938
2014 Antwerp Concours - Wijnegem (B)

AC is best known for the 1950s Ace model (which has lead to the Shelby Cobra) but has made cars since the early 1900s. This model is based on an advanced 2 Litre 6 cylinder engine which was developed by AC, introduced around 1927 and continued up to 1963. In fact, it can be seen as a direct ancestor to the Ace. Only a few dozen were made each year; 15 were made of this particular version, which was a competition model, and this is one of 5 fitted with a supercharger.
