Panhard M2E 4 CV phaeton 1895
2014 Louwman Museum - Den Haag (NL)

This car is powered by a 2 cylinder Daimler engine, made by Panhard under license. Panhard was however the first manufacturer to place the engine in front, driving the rear wheels. So in that sense this car was an ancestor to modern cars, despite its peculiar looks.
