Gatso Mercury Kwik roadster by Schutter & Van Bakel 1939
2018 Concours d'Elegance Paleis het Loo - Apeldoorn (NL)
Maurice Gatsonides was a well known Dutch rally driver who also produced a small number of cars just before and after the second World War under the Gatso brand name. The car shown here was the first, based on a Mercury chassis and engine. It was named Kwik, which is the Dutch word for mercury but also sounds like "quick".
